I always got fascinated towards cowboy and this shows was portrayed in such a way. But it is not a complete old fashioned cowboy story. This show is about crime and the lead role Raylan Givens is a US Marshall and how things are dragging him and the consequences. Timothy Olyphant is the guy in lead role and he does his best. He looks ultimate in his cowboy hat and the acting was very true to the character. This show is as fun as it is entertaining. I have watched every episode so far and will continue to watch it in the future. Waiting for the next season which will be premiered in mid of 2011.

Breaking Bad - Season 3

Season 3 is nothing short in anything that was delivered in the previous seasons. In fact it was getting better on each and every episode. In this season there were lot of quirky moments and that was equally interesting. There was one episode were Walter and Jesse are trying to kill a single fly and that was really moving. Even though the whole 40 minutes was like how are they going to kill the fly and there are couple situation that will led them to have a conversation about past. Everything is unexpected and witty. The final episode in season 3 is the ultimate. It ended with the great suspension and I'm starving for the next season. I love this show and  it has the potential of having another 3-4 seasons. It is no wonder that Bryan Cranston got 3 Emmy Awards for this show. He completely deserves it. I cannot praise this series enough, let's just hope it continues to be successful. It's worth the time..

How do you treat yourself?

Of course, since our childhood we have been given with lots of advise on how to treat others. But i have never received or gave any advise on how to treat yourself. I mean how to handle or react to your inner-self. Because the only possible way for your inner-self to feel or express is through you and how good are you in treating that. I am not referring to understand what is good or what is bad. Somehow that is related but not in this context. Have i given the same priorities in treating myself as i gave in treating others? Well, its hard for me to describe. Sometimes i have given more priorities to myself and sometimes not at all. I mean there is no constant proportion available. That is mainly because lacking in the standard of treating my inner-self. We are working very smart and hard to maintain our dignity but that is from others point of view. How dignified are you to yourself? I still wonder how to figure out this. Correspondence between me and my inner-self is something that i

Learning from a movie..

How often do we learn something useful from watching a movie. The plot of this movie 'The Joneses' is so true to real life. I have no idea about the plot of this movie. When i was traveling to India, I got a chance to watch this movie and couldn't stop myself from appreciating the plot. Am not going to review the movie. Since only the concept of this movie was so true and apart from that the movie was not kind of mind blowing stuff. Still the performances given by the actors are not bad. The screenplay of this movie is kind of pushing the the concept and and it is sort of unconventional. But however the truth from the concept is something that no one can resist. We live in the world of advertisement. We buy things because of it. Someone like shopaholic they don't even give a thought whether they really need it before buying. In real life even that is kind of advertising. It spoils the circle of people that you are dealing with. Out of X number of people at least couple

Breaking Bad : Season Two

Image
The second season is just incredible as the previous season . This season has improved in development of story and the characters. It just keeps getting better and better. The best part of this show is, the writer doesn't think the viewers are idiot. It keeps justify for whatever that is going to happen and there is no more dispute in that narration. Since this story is true to real life so the incidents are. This season has more 'twist', 'what if situations' and mostly 'how he could pull it off'. The reaction for the above said situations are OMG!.  I couldn't resist myself from watching season 3 which am going do this weekend. Wow! am excited.

Atonement

Before watching this movie I did know that this was a successful and wonderful film that deals with love and loss. But never got a chance to watch this movie. During last week movie time, I decided to watch this one and i did. The first impression of the movie was the story narration. It did gripped me till the end of the movie and that was amazing. Second i did not feel this movie was so emotional until when James McAvoy is waiting for the ship to get him and to see her. He did delivered one of the best performance and i did liked his performance in 'The Last King of Scotland'. This movie is mostly about the novel that is written by Briony Tallis who is the sister of Cecilia Tallis which is done by Keira Knightley. Briony did some mistake and that separates her sister Cecilia from her lover Robbie (James McAvoy) and how she regrets for what she have done and how she handles in expressing her sorry with deep from her heart. At the end of the film the old age character of Brio

reign over me...

The theme of this movie was very inspiring and most of all, Adam Sandler's performance was mind blowing. I have never seen his performance in this kind of emotional movies. And also I have to comment on his partner/friend Don Cheadle's performance. As usual he is unbeatable. I started enjoying his performance only after watching the movies 'Traitor', 'Crash' and 'Hotel Rwanda' to mention some. This is a very intense movie about Loss and Friendship. There are lot of funny scenes but also more emotional scenes. Definitely this movie would bring you lots of smile and tears. I started this movie by thinking it would be a comedy since the casting includes Adam Sandler. But immediately after five to ten minutes you would easily identify that this is completely not a comedy flavored but also with emotional dealings. This movie comes under the list of movies that deals post 9/11 event. I honestly recommend this movie to anyone who like to watch the best perfor

Life is Engaged..

Image
Well, I'm Engaged. Does the above statement is blunt. Well, it is. It simply explains that am engaged to something and the statement got abruptly ended. The actual point is I'm engaged to a girl. Yeah! am going to get married. Then why didn't I complete the statement earlier. Because getting engaged to a girl is single sentence and it does have only one explanation that am going to get married. But I simply did not want to think of like that. After marriage I will be engaged to a lot of things. First thing is I will lose all of my freedom that I had before the marriage. I need to take care of her. Post marriage is completely different. I always should have her in my mind before planning anything. She is going to share her life with me and certainly I would respect her feelings and likewise. Am socompletely ENGAGED all day, every week, every month and every year. The responsibility will be dramatically increased post marriage. So that is the reason for me to write a sta

First step in Music Collection..

Well, in my previous post i have mentioned that i have decided to buy Microsoft Zune HD but after lot of reviews and personal opinions i have bought iPod classic. My requirement was, the storage capacity should be more. And the sync process should be very simple. Initially the iPod did not have the ability to sync manually with our own selection of songs every time. That is one of the major factor for me to look for an alternate device. But the recent apple product does support manual sync and the process is pretty simple. The iPod classic has the storage capacity of 160 GB which is so huge. As of now i could load around 26 GB of songs and still counting. The sync process is really smooth and never had an issue so far. I really enjoy using the player and main thing is i could carry all my songs in a single device and take it with me any where.

Breaking Bad : Season One

Image
Breaking Bad is one of the best compelling thriller TV show. Watched all the episodes in season one and it is absolutely mind blowing and there is no doubt about it. The script is incredibly well written and directed. All supporting actors have given their best performances. I felt that, couple of episodes were moving slow but the characters and every tiny detail of the story are the best part of it. This series is definitely an addictive and you couldn't stop yourself from starving for the next episode. I completely enjoyed the first season and also have watched the half of second season. Most of the scenes are just true to life screwed up events that could take place in the real world. The suspense is almost non-stop, the action scenes are briskly handled, the humor is diabolic, and the dialog is always sharp as a knife. Bryan Cranston, he is the main character and he has created a very original performance with his portrayal of Walter White and his partner Jesse Pinkman is ve

The birth of my new Passion!

Since childhood I was always fascinated towards photography. Eventually it all started with the pleasure of viewing the best shots. And slowly started in capturing the moments. But didn't get enough time to move further. For past couple of years i was having solitude kind of life. I do get lot of times to spend for myself. Literally i was bored to work on a laptop day and night i wanted some other activities to enjoy myself. I tried reading, but that was not more effective. I do like reading and sometimes enjoyed the reading. But the grip was not enough to hold further and started for some other activities and then I remembered photography. Why shouldn't i learn photography and why should not i develop more skills on that? I have started thinking why do i like photography? Photography is a outlet for all of our creative Ideas. Photography for me is the one thing that keeps me of sound mind. I enjoy the patience in capturing the moment the way i want. I felt photography is th

Android Season!

Since August 2010 I have been using Android 2.1 (Eclair) powered smart phone Samsung Vibrant and I have to certainly admit that I absolutely love the device and operating system. The most amazing features that I've liked most, 4-inch Super AMOLED touch screen with 16 million colors is STUNNING. SWYPE keyboard is awesome Speaker quality is brilliant and it does support 5.1 surround while using audio devices or head phones. 16 GB internal memory Powerful gaming machine Enter your gmail id and password. It configures your e-mail for sending and receiving, and it immediately sync your Google contacts to phone, Google messenger gets configured automatically and your Google calendar get in sync with your phone. Amazing! isn't it? Enter your facebook credentials and it configures the app and moreover it does your contacts to sync with facebook contacts and you can pretty much view your friends updates in the contact itself. You can configure the phone to have multiple home screens and

Ubuntu Fever!

Recently i have updated my OS from Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx) to Ubuntu 10.10 (Maverick Meerkat). There are some notable changes considering my usage and it is all mentioned below. Changes in Evolution and got updated to the latest version 2.30.3. I could feel the response got increased a bit and works more solid. Default photo manager got changed to Shotwell from F-spot. Shotwell is very responsive and for me it is way better than F-Spot. The sound Indicator has been enhanced to include music player controls. Software center has been updated with some additional features. Quick support for hardware drivers. In my case it was for nvidia graphics card. New themes, new icons, and new wallpaper bring a dramatically updated look and feel to Ubuntu. Never tried Ubuntu one. But will be doing it soon. My Ubuntu experience ladder was like this. Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty Jackalope) -> Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic Koala) -> Ubuntu 10.04 (Lucid Lynx) -> Ubuntu 10.10 (Maverick Meerkat) My experience with

Happy Birthday to me....

TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY! I have survived another year and with all the wonderful friends I've meet on here, it's made my life much more pleasant! I'll keep believing for better days in this new decade. Once again Happy B'day to me....

Need a Change, badly.

Well, I wanted a change in my life style and i read somewhere hat it takes around 20 - 30 days to make something as a habit. By having that in mind, I am going to blog every day this month. Let me try how far i could keep up my word. Certainly am going to setup a task in my mobile to remind me every day. Today i was not loaded with much of work and in fact no work at all. I was hoping to get some good news but for some reasons it is getting delayed. I have never felt that i need a portable media player for myself to have my own collection of musics and videos. But recently i started to feel like i need one and that's when the confusion started. I'm not fascinated towards iPod, so i was looking for a cool alternative and then i decided to buy Zune HD which has pretty good reviews and still not in a position to buy it right away. I'm doing lot of discussion within myself about the storage capacity of the player. My mind oscillates between 16GB and 32GB. Later I have convinced

Into the wild of Alaska..

Image
Recently I was in search of some non-fiction books to read. I have never read any book in that genre and something inside me wanted and I was searching for couple of days and finally found the book called "Into the Wild". Also found out that there was a film adoption in the same name and it was confusing to me whether to watch the movie or to read the book. Ultimately I chose to watch the movie and guess what? The movie was haunting me for a while and started listening to the original soundtracks over and over. Let me explicate about the movie. This is the best and most under-appreciated film. I absolutely loved everything about Into the Wild, most especially Emile Hirsch as Christopher McCandless who is amazing in his performance. This is a poignant, compelling narrative about Chris, an intelligent, intense, and idealistic young man, who cut off all his connections to his sister and parents. Through out his journey he meets lot of people and many of them offered their love a

Hauntingly Beautiful!!!!

Well recently fell in love with Alexi Murdoch songs. Before going to his songs and performance i have to tell about how his music was introduced to me. Recently came to know about the movie "Away we go" through some blog and certainly it did boost my curiosity. So downloaded and watched the movie. I loved the movie and enjoyed all the scenes indeed. The movie is about two characters Burt and Verona and they are looking for something throughout this movie: a sense of belonging and of home. Expectant parents Burt and Verona travel across the US, trying to find a place to raise their family. Their travels bring them face to face with their friends and family, and force them to contemplate their future as parents. It forces them to view life as adults, possibly for the first time. Also the production adhered to energy-saving and environmentally friendly guidelines throughout its production which is promising. The original soundtrack was done by Alexi Murdoch and from then i sta
